AAJSS is a proud member of the American Academy Journals. It is a gold open access journal so authors will be asked to pay a publication fee but only if the paper got accepted for publication. AAJSS is a rigorously peer-reviewed scholarly publication that seeks manuscripts on leading topics related to the theories, methods and applications of Social Studies. AAJSS publishes research articles, research notes, literature reviews, lesson plans, and review essays addressing research and practice of social studies. Submissions from all social studies disciplines, as well as from interdisciplinary perspectives, are welcome, with each submission being rigorously refereed using reviewers from relevant disciplines.
